I called around today to 3 different dealers before I finallly found one that had a M109R in stock. This is exactly what I've been waiting for BUT being a Shortsheeeit at 5'3" tall I had to check this one out real good. I will say that I was definitely surprised at the fact that I could stradle it comfortably but need about 1 more good solid inch to be in total control. I WANT THIS BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF ART. I plan on possibly moding the seat just a hair and then an inch drop in front and rear somehow. If anyone can shed more light on the subject feel free to email or responde. I'm not going to actually purchase until I can get all my plans layed out and ready to get-r-dun. Until then I will be in research mode. Wish me luck. Until then guess my main drink will be miracle grow. LOL

I too am interested in lowering the bike at least an inch. There are no products yet that I know of. I am sure it won't take long though.

I wouldn't mess with the suspension too much if you want to maintain cornering clearances. I love the look but wouldn't want to sacrifice the ride quality. Maybe some company will come out with an airbag kit. so when you go to park the bike, you could just hit a button and sit the bike down right on the frame with no kickstand ............( not that I'd trust to leave it like that, but you get the visual)
We should have lowering links available by the end of next week.
Definitely the seat could give up an inch to you and this is a fairly simple mod that won't have you grinding the pegs sooner.

I'll be waiting patiently on the lowering links!!! Yea Right!!! HURRY UP!!!
LOL. Hope they come out soon so I can figure out what I'm gonna do. If I don't get the M109R I'll probably go with a Mean Streak. Anyway give up any info you can and thanx for the input so far.

If your going to buy a Mean Streak, I'm sure that someone on here will be selling one and upgrading to the M109.
It won't be the seat height that effects you, the forward shift and positioning of the molded back rest will make launching difficult, though not impossible. Regular riding isn't bad at all, twisty's and full out roll on's. I'm in no hurry to make adjustments, other projects, but will probably consider a different shift arrangement or location.
looking to lower rear of bike about two inches, did this on my Mean Streak with progressive suspension. was a shorter shock. the bike looked good, but the bike handled poorly. will lowering the 109 with different dogbones affect the handling? Who is fabing these parts up?
