I was probally taking my last ride for the season as its supposed to snow Thursday and when at lower rpms my nacelle rattles as if its going to fall off has anyone experience this. man it almost sounded like a rod knocking, but the nacelle seems tight. :dontknow:
There is a plastic backing to the Nacelle that is attached with 2 of those plastic pushpins... perhaps check if they are seated all the way??
It may be that plastic piece you are hearing vibrate.
Not sure how it's mounted to the bike (bolts, etc), but a local sport bike guy game me a great idea to remove a rattle from my turn signals on my light bar.
Took the headlight/lightbar off and slipped a rubber washer (like from a garden hose) around the bolt, then put bolt back on, tightened it all back up. This simple, yet hidden solution, has all but removed the vibration from my turn signal.
Realize also this: my vibration was so bad @ ~40-50 mph, that it would blow the filament in the bulb.....about every other day.
