I am considering replacing the headlight and nacele with a Kuryakin light. Has anyone considered doing this? How much trouble will it be to remove the mounting brackets and clean up that area for an new install. How so we go about lowering the rear end? And how far is it suggested to go? Can the individual who did this please let me know how he went about this modification

I have ordered rear turn signal lights and a side mount tag bracket. I am looking forward to the install.

Thanks, oldoldfart

That headlight cowl hides a bunch of wires and cables. Pop it off and decide for yourself if that's something you want to attack. Personally, I like the headlight. It's part of what sets this bike apart from all the other cookie cutter crusiers. <JMHO>

I do agree that the rear could come down a little...

After looking at a picture on this site that shows the 109 with a headlight off of a C90, I have to agree with you. I guess I'll mount new kuryakin lights on the nacelle. I am still waiting on information about lowering the rear.
