KickStand Help..................???

Got my baby lowered two inches and going with the "Blacked Out" theme and I need to pick my fellow 9'ers brains. Need to know what is a Qaulity "Blacked out" kickstand I can go with. Would love to support DLP but all I see is polished or Chrome stands.......Help????

you can take your chrome 1 and get it powder coated Black. Shouldnt cost ya to much. Or what ive done on other bikes is actually anodized it black. so its darked but still has a shine gives it a neat look. Look for local powder coat shop or plating shop. Just a thought.

Just so we are all on the same page, the stock one is not chrome. It is polished with a sealer over it.

Yana Shiki makes some very good products. Should be no problem, There are several here who have their stands. Stay away from the cheap knock off sold on ebay. They break at the ear causing the bike to fall over. I had one and returned it and bought the DLP stand. The knock off has a Suzuki "S" stamped at the top of the kick stand.

Nice to know or not, it is good that it is generally realized.

I point this out whenever I see the reference because I bought a "chrome kickstand" from a member that turned out just to be the stock finish. It worked out, but this piece of misinformation must be nipped in the bud when it pops up.

Just thought I would potentially save some frustration for someone in the future.
