Finally back then put compression release on it !

Back in my early riding days I had a Triumph 650 that had a high compression piston and some other mods in it. If you didn't have the piston at the right position in the stroke and didn't kick it like you meant it ,it would literally throw you off the bike. My leg still hurts thinking about it.

I had a Maico 490 , if you didn't pull the compression release you could stand on the kickstarter. The first start of the day it would pop and kick back on the first kick , on the second it would start right up. Occasionally the kickback would make you want to wait a few minutes before starting it and taking off.
