Unfortunately everyone is in the same boat. That's why we try and make a lot of these parts as soon as the bike hit's the streets. No matter where you order it you're going to have to wait till the manufacture distributes them. The first ones in line will get their's first. We all hate waiting on parts. :dontknow:

I contacted Jardine about the sissy bar brackets I ordered 6 weeks ago. They told me that it would be another 6 weeks. He said I could cancel if I wanted but if I didn't I am #1 on the list to get them. I'm just gonna wait.

I also talked to Midwest Action Cycle about the saddlebag brackets I've had on order for 6 weeks. They told me they moved the date back to August 1. I cancelled them. I figure I can make something that will work for the saddlebags.

Just a quick note about Hal and direct line I have ordered parts for my VTX and Valkyrie

I don't have a problem with the company or Hal. I just wish I knew there was going to be such a long wait. There should have been some form of notification about that on the site before someone places an order.

I agree. Nothing pisses me off more. I don't mind if I'm told up front but it's when you have to pry the backorder info out of the vendor that gets me :verymad:.

If I really need or want anything and I see it online I call to check stock. I did that with the last camera I bought. I found a few places that had it and I was in no hurry so I odered it from the place that had the best price, called the next day (Monday) and they were out of stock, even though their site said they were in stock. Found another place with a good price so I called and it was in stock so I ordered it. Sometimes a phone call will save you a lot of grief. : The phone is your friend.
