Ok I have a spanner wrench, I have a rachet handle, I know where it is (the shock) I even see the numbers but...
I can't get this spanner to work...what am I doing wrong? All thumbs here

Probably nothing wrong.. When Prowler and I adjusted mine it took both of us to do it, me to hold the bike and him pulling like all :edit: to get the thing to turn. It is NOT easy.

Get on the ground under the bike on its right side. Put a good gripping leather glove on your spanner wrench hand and into a slot that gives you a good grip on it and hold the bike very firmly. Pull with all your might, Grasshopper, and if you did good...the bike will still be upright and the shock would have moved one or more notches. JOHN

Oh yea, it's pretty tight, but it will move as stated in prior posts, on ground from right side of bike and definitely need a good pair of gloves so that the spanner wrench doesn't dig into your hands!
