Since I've had the bike, shifting was sometimes an issue. the smaller, shorter shifter peg sometimes makes me miss second. Now, it could be my boots or other factors. Since I change the shifter peg to longer one, I hve been able to shift positivley without missing. It seems that with the longer peg, my shoe or boot is able to hook on it better. Anyway, just a little thought...

For me changing to steel toed boots helped, a lot. It really shifts nice if you have boots that don't give when you shift. I also cut off the stock peg and replaced it with one of the Kuryakyn Longhorn pegs, the longer one with 4 rings on it. It's just a little longer than the stock peg.

I have discovered that I shift better right after I have had a pedicure.

I think my toes have a better feel with the right color nail polish.

Worked for me.

Well, the thought never occured to me, lol. It's too late for me to try it now. I'm afraid I'll put a hole on my foot with the pegs on the bike now, lol....
