I went to my dealer this morning to pick up the air filter they would replace because of leakage. It was supposed to be replaced on warranty for their mistakes in over filling the bike with oil. Well the filter cost $52.66 with tax of 3.75 the total cost came to $54.07 for the filter. Im I just stupid or does someone else that is to expensive for the filter?

It's pricey, but K&N's are too. If not more. You did say it is covered under warranty. Don't let them play games with you.

The service manager accepted and signed off of for the filter over eight weeks ago. It seems as if the paper and computer trail have dissapeared and the manager refuses to accept in on warranty now. I will go to another dealer from now on to have work done on my 109.

I would talk to customer service about that. They should not allow that to happen.
