Hi All. I want to go to the meet in Staunton VA this year but I am the only 9 rider I ride with. Anyone else going? Who would go in on the cost of a trailer if I tow it?

Now, you have posted at the best possible time. I will probably be going again this year and have access to a 6x14 open trailer, but nothing to tow it with. Garthen and I should be good and possibly Cope---but that is up in the air. I do not want to trailer all the way, but will ride some of it. Trying to hook up with JDMitchel also. We should be able to get things worked out on this. Let me know!

Count me in FuturR :bigthumbsup: I've got a buddy here in town that has a nice size box trailer that he used to haul his supertruck in. I'll see if he's willing to let us use it.

My truck is a 5.7 litre Saab. Not a towing monster butpretty decent. OR I would be willing to pay up to ride with someone else in their truck adn trailer. Either way, we might have some fun with the trip out and back too!

Well, it looks like Cope will have a real nice trailer to use---enclosed and we think like 26ft. So, some things are coming along. We still need to find a good tow vehicle---enough to tow and seat 4-5. Keep up the good work. Oh, I have to get Cope's map right or he says I can't go---better get on that.

Are you all going to be checking in on the 23rd? If so I could try to leave before dawn to meet up with you guys and ride the rest of the way and hopefully I will pick up some Illinois guys along the way. Just wondering if you have a ballpark time of when you all would want to leave.

Eeeeeks. That is more than my Saab can hold. OK, who has a Suburban? Big gas bill but split 5 ways, no big deal!

I am good for the meet this year and man I wish it was June already. We need to get together one weekend and discuss details on a tow vehicle and a rough estimate of funds needed.

Ok men, I have 1 room booked as posted above. For those of you going, you had better reserve a room NOW! There are only 100 total rooms and atleast 93 are reserved. If you wait till tomorrow you might be at another hotel. All the info is on the first page of the thread and make sure you say you are with the m109riders group---they could screw that up if you don't. Also, remember, if you are unsure--it costs nothing to reserve and you can canceal up tp 24hrs before the day of. We will be there on the 23rd and leave that sunday. My room is a 2 bed and I am sure Garthen has the the other pillow.

Its gonna take a 3/4 ton cummins to get that beast down the road. Nice trailer, now I know how futurR plans on trailering 6 9's. I guess I will bring my ratchet straps in my backpack. And as far as the rooms go I have a 2 bed room and if my dad dosen't come out I will have an extra. So if somebody wasn't wanting to spend $320 for 4 nights then I would be willing to split a room. Its not like I am gonna be in there much anyway, I am gonna be either partying or riding!

John in Ohio--dayton area, wants to hook up some how. So, lets get a true number and if you have a room reserved or not. Guys the room thing is going to become an issue---by my count, only 6 rooms left in the hotel.
