My bike presently has 130/60/18 VR Metz tires on front and 280/35/18 VR Metz tires on rear and I am approaching 6000 miles so I will be shopping for new tires soon. I am thinking of going back to the original stock front tire 130/70/18 but Metz does not make a VR in that size, only an HR. Has any one had problems with running different speed ratings on front and back?

Only if you mix brands can the high speed ratings be accomplished on the front, in radial tires. I run the Bridgestone Exedra 130/70ZR18 front, and Avon 250/40VR18 rear. No issues whatsoever. I ride it like it's on fire, and they stick/handle perfectly.

You should be fine, the Dunlops are the same way.
Agree, I noticed that the Dunlop E3's have the same situation. I don't plan on going with a larger than 130 wide tire but may go back to the same stock height. I don't plan on going over 130 MPH either. Thanks.
