Is the DDMTuning kit actually a Bi Xenon bulb or the dual bulb with one HID and the other Tunston or something similar?

I have the DDM 6000K 55 watt hi-low kit. It is one bulb and friggin bright as hell. My son has the 8000K 35 watt kit in his R6 and when we ride side by side at night you can't tell his light is on. Pisses him off big time. he he

Yeah that's the one I would probably get as well.

I got the A&R 6000k kit about 2 months ago and I love it so far. It makes a HUGE difference when riding at night, plus it just looks cool
It's about twice the price of the DDM kit though, that's why I am looking at the DDM parts.

The DDM kit is a pretty nice kit. The power supply is the same that is used for a car or truck so it has 2 outputs. I just taped one of the up since we only need one for the bike. They have a tutorial on their website for our bikes and it is spot on. Can't go wrong with the DDm kit. JMNSHO

any chance of getting a group buy going again ???
I do not think you will get them any lower unless you went to cheaper parts. So why install a CRAP unit in your bike. The Group buy 3 or 4 years ago was $150, it has dropped because parts have gotten less expensive.

Interested, but.....

I am definitely interested. Just not sure which way to go on this. Seems like some of these threads have multiple opinions. Sounds like the DDM option is a pretty good way to go for the money. Any cons to it (battery drain, wiring hassle, scares the dog, attracts deers, etc..)? also are we all in agreement that the 55w 8000k is the way to go? Whats the difference in the 8000 and 6000 (level of blueness?)?

DDM is HORRIBLE!!

First, they basically give you half a car kit. You get the bulb, a balast, and a 6ft cable to plug it all in. Very hard to do that in the bucket with that much wire but not bad. However, you have to run power to it from a fuse block or battery. You basically need to cut their harness to splice in enough wire to run it back. If you do that, you void their warranty and they will not warranty it.

Sportivia is by far the best bang for the buck. $60 on ebay and you get two full plug and play kits. It takes 15 minutes to install them basically. Only need to work in the headlight. No running wires.

Also, you will have issues with a 55w balast. It takes too much draw to fire it up and many times you will end up not having a light. You can buy an alarm delay box for $10 on ebay and basically once it detects voltage, it will wait 10 seconds and then fire the ballast up. People are reporting good success with it.

H4 Bi-xenon kit. It's actually two kits for one price. At DDMTuning you can get either single or dual kits.
I'll second VVME for good quality kits at a good price that last a long time.
