I just bought my first new bike. Its a 2023 m109r, I had a m109r that was a 2007 that was already hooked up and I did a few mods and sold it. Didnt have it long enough to appreciate it. Now Im starting with a clean slate and ready to roll. Need advice. Please help me out.

One of my favorite mods has been the Healtech Quick Shift setup. I Can (if I want to) hold it wide open and just click up through the gears. I was a little hesitant going this way because of the sheer mass of the countershaft etc. but it has been absolutely brilliant. Nearly halves the use of clutch too.

I have had a 2007 that was already hooked up with a scorpion pipe and everything in between, I bought a 2023 4 days ago and don't know whether its worth putting the scorpions on and loosing the hp and the start? feedback!

Both bikes look great. I'm just a noobie to the M109R but if you do the pipes, you should do an ecu flash for 2 reasons, the safety of the bike, and remove some of the restriction, you will end up with more power. Those pipes look like they will flow a lot of air so probably want to do an upgraded air filter and delete the air induction system. I haven't been on the forum long enough to give you specific advice but I see Moore Mafia will flash the ecu and there is a guy on this forum that does it as well. I have done this with lots of bikes, 3 Suzuki's but they were GSXRs. Great bike, not a scratch on it!

I just got the exact same one two weeks ago, love it. I love this Candy Red, I think this is the best color since its inception. There are several dealers in my area, I went to the one who had the red one on the floor. I also love the former black with chrome hardware. To my taste, those are the two best colors so far.

Great looking bike, and the lights look awesome. As far as pipes, the Scorpion tips are close to last on my list. I'd put them below dump pipes for what they do to performance. And to me they just don't sound that good, too raucous. The ones I personally like are the Cobra Swept, the Hard Krome Velocity Pro in either short or long, and the Freedom Performance Sharp Curve Radius.

Pick you an exhaust and have BCS flash the ECM
