Hello to everyone. Is been a long tine to post here but I have been searching and reading many of your post.
Finally after a 1 1/2 I sold my bike 1996 Yamaha royal star which I build as a bagger for 2 up riding
119514799_756221928510954_6796969025753433126_o.jpg I fabricate all body parts my self with fiberglass. I build some baggers in the past and sold them.

So Before I buy M109r I will need all the help you can provide. I am from Cyprus a small island in Mediterranean sea and Suzuki didn't sell or import the M109r or the M90. So there is no way I can test drive the bike or find someone that have this bike and talk with him. Basically if we want to buy Japan cruiser bikes with big engines we buy them from other countries and have them shipped to Cyprus. Is a risk but that how we do it for many years

If I buy M109r I am going to built it with fairing hard bags and tour pack I ride 80% 2 up and prefer mountains. I will upgrade the rear and front shock and put 260 rear tire and 140 front witch they are load rated more than the stocks. I have never ride with more than 200mm rear tire again ( I am riding bikes for the last 25 years)

So I will need your honest opinion for those who ride 2 up long distance what are the pros and cons or any other info or upgrade you did for 2 up riding,
Also how it handles the closed turns on mountain roads, and how can handle the extra weight? I am not an aggressive rider and I am familiar with counter steering.

I start a post like this a year ago and it help me a lot. But know that I am ready to closed the deal I just want to make sure that Is the right decision or move to another model that will serve my purpose better.
BUT I SURE LOVE THE LOOK AND ALL THE POWER OF M109R AND IF I CAN BUILD IT FOR 2 UP IT WILL BE GREAT.

Sorry for the long post and THANKING YOU IN ADVANCE FOR ALL THE HELP.

This is what I am thing to do on the bike. That one is Yamaha xv1600 I build with frame mounting fairing I build
