Hello! Im Dave from CT. I love Suzuki and I’m picking up my new blue 2023 M109R this Friday. The dealer is receiving the crate and assembling the bike on Thursday. I am super excited. Im not a newbie to bikes. I do all of the work and maintenance myself. Ive had lots of bikes but currently have 2008 gsxr600 dedicated track bike, 2017 gsxr1000 mostly street some track, and a 2008 boulevard C50T limited edition. I mostly ride at the track doing at least 15 days per year but I’m looking forward to more street riding this year. Looking forward to being here and learning more!

Update for those of you who have read the previous posts. Motorsports nation in Waterford CT is a terrible dealership. They really just want the sale and then happy to not do what they promise and take anything they can from you. Its the culture of their dealership. They were trying to lie to Suzuki saying the scratches were crate damage but I contacted Suzuki directly. Not totally happy with that experience either. Suzuki determined that it was not concealed crate damage and just told me that its between me and the dealership and they just wont get involved. So Suzuki customer relations is more like dealer relations. Now the dealer probably got in more trouble and they hate me even more. So if you plan on going there, just go somewhere else. Of the 6 people that I recently found out bought bikes there one had a neutral experience and 5 had really bad experiences. Thats pretty bad track record. Ill get my bike squared away by buying new parts painting and Ill just live with the rim scratches.

Here are some closeups of my new bike. I did not notice the rim until I got it home. (brought it home in a trailer) still 0 miles when I took these pictures. Heres the handlebars and rim.

Also if you look at the speedo clear plastic cover you can see a scratch right above the 130 mph marker.

This is the right and left radiator covers. All scratched. The image looks out of focus but thats just because the screw is stripped out. Its not a hex anymore. Its just rounded. I have new handlebars on the bike already and a new front fairing too. I polished out the tank scratches and a scratch on the tail by hand so that part is taken care of. The black parts are harder to polish out.

Shame on the dealer. They said they would get these parts and I believed them so shame on me too. Shame on Suzuki for not helping me. Sorry to say as much as I love this bike and all my Suzukis that this will be my last Suzuki.
Lol. The fender screws that hold the brake line bracket on were all wrong too. One was in crooked and I had to retap the threads. The other one almost fell out! Thats when I noticed them. So Ive gone over the bike really well now and I think I have found everything and Im sure that I’m leaving some stuff out. Moral of the story is stay away from motorsports Nation in waterford CT. Now whats done is done and I’m sorry for the rant! I promise to stay positive from here on out!
I would like to say that it is unbelievable, but obviously it's not. You have much more patience than I do too, I think I'd be right out in front of the place with the bike and showing it to everyone that was going in. Or contacting a lawyer. It's ridiculous that you pay for a new bike and then get something that screwed up. More power to you for having the fortitude to go ahead and fix it bro.

Thanks, At this point I know the dealer is not helping me so I really have no choice but to do it myself. Lesson learned. I will go with any friend of mine to help them get a new bike.
Those guys will get what's coming to them someday. In my business, when there is an issue, I handle it totally differently. For example, if there is a problem with a window, lets say the glass is scratched. First thing I do is order another window and get the replacement coming. The homeowner does not even need to know whose fault it was. If it was the factory, the delivery guy, or my installer, that is irrelevant to the homeowner. I'll sort that out on my own and if it was my installer, then I will be the one that pays for the window. I would explain the situation honestly and actually compensate my customer for the inconvenience, if there is any. That's how I do business and that's one of the reasons why I will be in business until I retire. Someday this dealership will go out of business like all the other locations that they have had.

Mate, I'd return it. Tell them if they're not going to fix it to your satisfaction, they can have it back. Do you guys have some kind of ombudsman or small claims tribunal over there?
Just my 2c.

Yea I hear you and I should have tried something sooner. But its mine now. Ive done a bunch of stuff to it already. Ive mostly got everything looking pretty good. Im going to order the frame covers that go over the radiator and that will be it. I was thinking I will ask them to order the parts for me and Ill buy them but just never come around to get them! Lol. That would be funny. But these guys are pros at what they are doing and they’ll be one step ahead of me.
Return it. I would have returned it, day 1. You had much more faith in Suzuki and the dealership than I would have!

Sorry you went through this. Good luck getting it sorted out to your satisfaction!

PS - never trust Suzuki!

I did these mods already so no going back, gotta stay positive! Thanks everybody for letting me get it out of my system.
Kaoko throttle lock.
New rage rear signal.
I have the Flatz front signals, have not installed them yet, though, that will be soon.
Customized license plate relocation.
deleted the reflectors and helmet lock.
I ordered online the rest of the parts that I can't fix, which is all 4 black front frame covers that go over the sides of the radiator and the clear plastic speedometer cover.

Damn, I really thought Suzuki was going to be on my side and tell the dealer to make it right, but I was wildly mistaken!

It took a while to get there, and a lot of work on your part, but the results are worth it. Beautiful bike bro, enjoy it!
Well done mate. Glad to see you've sorted it. Shame about the dramas though.
