anyone running heated gear during the winter on the C without any issues?
I have just a pair of heated gloves from Gerbing that i used last year on my V-Star but i ended popping the stator on that in march, and i guess i'm a little nervous about using them on the C

any input on using them or amount of charging power available that is not being used by the normal systems on these scoots?

More CCA's

You could always add more cold cranking amps.
The "C" comes with a 16bs battery with 220 cca's.
A 20bs is the same size but has 270 cca's. 8)

Kragen has them for around $90

I had a cell short in my stock battery 2 months ago. and thats what I went with.

thanks i should be fine with just my heated gloves then.:p I got a little nervous when i saw mention of the stator or rectifier issues on some of the '08s. and since i had a stator issue on my VSTAR ,that is not something I am in a rush to deal with again.

any special sequence you use turning all that stuff on as not to shock the system?

I run a set of amplified speakers, gps, and heated gloves. No problems at all.

Nope, plug and play!

I've never had any issues where anything seemed to draw on the system.
The gloves, power point and stereo are fused independently
