I've seen it, and from what I hear it works great. The downer is it's like $60 a quart and takes 24-36 hours to cure. I polish a lot of metal but I haven't really had any problems with my stuff fading. If it does, a quick buff shines it right back up. If you watch the full video for it, it's designed to keep barnacles from growing on the bottoms of boats.

I used it years ago and have mentioned it on here before. I used to polish aluminum wheels and it worked OK to protect them, but as gottattooz said it doesn't take a lot of work to just polish them occasionally. I personally wouldn't spend that much money on it.

I've started using the Hot Flash products and this stuff works great. It's not a sealant but it lasts a long time and is super easy to use. I use the Haze to Amaze and the Billet Plus Super Polish. You can buy it in a kit and save a few bucks and also get the application towels.

Not sure what's up with the Hot Flash website... it's been out of commission for weeks. I get my Hot Flash products from this guy... same price & fast Fed-Ex shipping...

That's odd Glen. I just got another order from them a couple weeks ago for my brother. Ordered off the site and got it in about 3 days.

I just tried something new for a sealer. Not sure how well it works as I've just tested it on an old polished derby cover. But the price is right and it doesn't smear or anything.

I got a bottle of the Metal Gloss and the Sealer Gloss. The metal polish seems to work well too. I bought it in a kit with both bottles off ebay.

edit: Just checked and the Hot Flash website doesn't even show up anymore. The one you linked is the only one you can get it from. Hmmmm...

I'm kind of on the fence about sealers bro. Maybe I'm just old or something, but I actually enjoy re-polishing. ;)
