Still to much snow to ride, so I played around with some LED's

Mounted a LED stripe around a plastic ring, and fasten it with silicone

that works :bigthumbsup: think I will try it what size led stripe did you use I installed a bunch of leds over the winter and never even thought about that area

around 0.4 inch wide, but you can go wider.

I tried spacers between engine and derby and that gap did the trick, now one can see the halo light much better

thanks will try using spacers thinking of having a ring made at work with two or three tabs where the screws go on the derby cover to hold it in place will let you know how it comes out.

I would have the wire come out more in the front of derby cover where the bracket for the pegs can hide it better
