I am wondering what would be the best way to get this dent repaired? Our the best place to buy a tank?

Lovin' will only get you so far.

You can massage some of it out, but because you have a crease line, you will likely need to fill along that. trying to push/beat that out will only stretch it and will need shrinking.

Some of the professional dent removers can get it pretty close and would be a cost-effective starting point. They insert a bent, hard rod with a protective tip and lever it little by little. some guys over here get it so close you would hardly notice unless you knew it was there. Which you do.

I had my tank repaired (professionally) recently when a red-light runner clipped me and sent the indicator into the tank at 60km/h, leaving a perfect little round indentation (like the back of the indicator).

Any body shop worth their salt can repair that for you. It will cost far less than a new (nearly $1000) tank.
