I just installed halogen silver bullets from Kuryakyn and one of them didn't work. I found out that the problem was a bad bulb. You can get them at Lowes for about $7, no need to order them and wait!!! It is just a standard 20 watt, 12 volt, 1 1/4 diameter halogen bulb. They are used in track lighting. I wired it up and now they work.

I went to the 35 watt bulb for more light. They dont get hot enough to crack lenses and the difference is significant with the 15 watt increase. Also found them at Home Depo.

Bullie,

What if your running them as running lights?

Mine are being run as running lights and they have not overheated as of yet. They are much brighter too.
