The site is always a great read - thanks to all contributors

I am interested in recent posts on the effect of a front mounted 160 Metz tyre and also height adjustment of the front forks (ie sliding them down 1/8" or so) - posts indicate improved handling in both cases. Has anyone tried both with good results?

Both cases seem to result in similar changes to trail, head angle and wheelbase - how does all of this compute to predictably better handling, in either case? Even a slight increase in wheelbase makes an even greater turning circle - its already like parking the QM2

Perhaps a steering geometry guru would like to comment? Anyhow I'd appreciate any feedback
