I recently replaced my front blinker lense with clear lenses and went with the 1157 amber bulbs. After changing the bulbs, my right blinker blinks at the "standard" fast rate while the left blinks slower. I really don't mind the fast blinker of stock bikes as I feel they are more anttention-grabbing to cagers. Any ideas on what the solution would be to get the left blinking at the fast rate?:dontknow:

clairifacation needed. You put a 1157 bulb into the stock blinker housing? If so then you must have filed off one of the tabs correct? If this is so then could one have a better ground then the other causing for different blink rates?

If they are standard bulbs then one of them is bad or not making good connection. If they are LEDs they should both blink fast. You can't really make the standard bulb blink fast unless it's a bad bulb or connection.

The original clear bulb had 2 tabs. Will check seating of bulb.

Also, check the rear right blinker and see if it went bad.

Must be a bad bulb. Switched positions and slow flash followed bulb. Thanks guys.
