I went on my first long ride with the 109 yesterday. I rode about 400 miles through the Blue Ridge Parkway, all mountain riding and long winding turns. Ran well all day, I got to realize that my gas gauge isn't exactly accurate,it stays on full for way too long. It was on the 3/4 mark when I stopped at a gas station to fill up. It was the last gas station for a while so I figured we better gas up, I put over 3.5 gallons in it. Other than that it was awesome riding, the 109 did great in the twisties, dragged alot of pegs but that was just part of the excitement. Also I will add, the guys I was with all ride VTX's, and they never saw anything but a good view of the 240 tire all day. Can't wait til the next long ride

Sounds like fun!! Can't wait for my first long ride, next weekend. Only about 250 miles one way and 250 home the next day. I'll be solo, but it'll still be fun!!
