Am new to 1o9, want to know if i can change out final drive ( like i did for my vtx) hiway rpms lower coast to coast rides saved lots engine ware and gas not a kid any more willing to lose off the line punch. THANX

I doubt that there are any gearsets available. You could have some custom made, though.

Nothing out there. Some thought this bike used the same final drive as the C90 and there isn't any for that either. I don't think it was ever confirmed if the 109 has the same final drive as the C90 or not.

Who made the ones for the VTX? I didn't know you could swap those out either.

:welcome: to the forum. I also have not seen anything on an after marker gear set. But if you have enough $$$ anything is possiable.

Thanx will look into c90 the vtx 1300 has higher stack than the 1800 500$ later I had droped 400 rpm could cruise 70mph with rpm of 2600 , will have to pull up some info on c90 final thinking about denver ride late summer first long 109 ride
