Hi guys, I couldnt really find what I was looking for in search...

Cant someone please tell me what their set up on the Cobra Fi2000 with cobra long shots??

Its for my brothers bike, its backfiring like crazy and I'm tryin to fix it.
I got PC III on mine so I'm not really familiar with Cobra fuel management system.

I think his pipes are debaffles as well.

Thanks in advance

Does he still have baffles? Stock intakes as well? Is it backfiring when he is under throttle, or deacceleration pop? If it is the latter, he should disconnect his pare valve.

Check for leaks at the heads and connections, then block the PAIR valve. It's getting air into the exhaust to make it pop on deceleration. The PAIR valve is designed to admit air and will definitely cause it.

The tuning on the Cobra won't fix it, but if it's too rich it can make it a little worse. The more fuel that is in the exhaust the more likelihood that it will pop.

I have the Speedster Longs with the FI2000R and they've never popped. Just a nice steady purr on decel. I think I have mine set on 2-3-2 right now, but I have an open intake.
