FI light is on, but bike will run. Drained old gas, ran new gas with SeaFoam through for a while and have tried the battery disconnect to see if it will re-set. FI light continues to come on at start up. Oh yeah, also replaced the fuel filter today to also try to clear up the FI light. Any help/thoughts appreciated.

Mine came on for no reason this morning...after disconnecting battery, checking connectors, it still still stayed on...I finally checked the cam on the servo motor, and the bolt came loosened and caused the cam to not be able to turn during the initiation when first turning the key on...I have aftermarket exhaust and was using the cam to eliminate having to pull pin for fi light. I put some thread locktite on bolt tightened it back on and problem fixed. God luck, hopefully it is something simple!

F1 Light - New problem

Okay, did the code check. With the "special tool" in place, comes up C00 - no issues and bike starts with no F1 light. Take the special tool out, F1 light comes on. Any thoughts?

Next F1 Issue

Okay, disconnected the battery for 30 minutes. Still get the F1 light. Put the special tool in and still get C00 code on the odo. As long as the special tool is in, the F1 light stays off. I can even pull the tool out after start up and the light stays off, but if I shut the bike off and then try to restart without the tool in the ECU plug, the F1 light comes back on.....AAAAAGGGGGHHHHHHH!

Yup. Let the speedo cycle all the way and wait for all the valves/etc to stop making noise. Only then do I hit the run switch, which is when I can hear (fuel pump?) cycle and that is when the F1 light comes on.

Excellent work! I did the disable set mod a few weeks ago myself and it works perfectly :D

I'm pulling the C61 code. Pair valve solenoid. I removed the tank and air box to make sure I capped everything off and reset my battery for 8 hours! The FI light still comes up. I'm running cobra slashdowns, Holley intake with k and n filters and a PCIII. Any ideas on how to turn this light off?

This Board is GREAT!!!! FI Light is on, started reading posts about FI lights came across this post, check exhaust side where CAM is and noticed rust spot where bolt used to be. Hopefully this is the root of my problem!!!
