Had a great ride on Monday - Quincy, IL to Fast Eddie's in Alton. Spent a whopping $10.06 and we ate like royalty! Only thing missing was my afternoon nap. The Illinois River Road is gorgeous for those of you in this part of the country, and it was a perfect day to rack up 250 miles - even with the gale force winds on the way home.

Out of the hundreds of bikes I saw all day, only saw 2 other 9's. I thought it was awesome that when the wife and I walked back to my White 9 at Fast Eddie's, someone had parked their Black 9 right next to us. Two 9's parked next to each other were far more impressive than the hundred other HD's in the lot!!!

Hey there,
I live about 6-7 minutes from Fast Eddies. And yes this area is way
over done with HD's. If you'd draw a 25 mile circle on a map there'd
be more HD dealers than metric for sure. St. Louis area is weird though,
the HD guys are for the most part pretty cool. Not a lot of disrespecting
between groups.

And yes you can eat like a King any day of the week at Fast Eddies.
The prices are great too. Love the names of the food also.
The Fat Eddie burger for $1, Hot Chick on a Stick...lol.
They were voted #1 bar in America by a poll taken by Coors beer.

We have 5 members that live within 20-30 minutes of Fast Eddies.
Next trip give us a shout we all like going there and your bike won't
be as lonely up there in the HD lot...lol.
