I realize its short Notice ,but here Goes

On Sunday October the 24

Kick stands up at
900 am For a full day of Riding
The resturant opens at 6 Am ,so if you want to eat Be there Early
starting with a Big Breakfast at Cracker barrel in Mechanicsville ,


Mechanicsville, VA
I-295 , Exit# 37A
I-295 & US 360
7367 Bell Creek Road South
Mechanicsville, VA 23111-3551
Located off I-295
*Bus & RV Parking Available
(804) 559-2261

We will Stick to the Highway So we will have more time in the Mountains

Rt 56 IS gonna Be a Side Trip While there
( In case you haven't Done some "Dragon Like" Roads, Beware !!)

I haven't Searched For any Restaurants This time So we will just wing it :-\

its Gonna be More Highway Than we Usally do But it will Be a nice day For it !

I saw Sky line trip on the map and got all excited. You guys are riding the Blue Ridge Parkway, and that's a little far from here. I'd much rather ride it than the Skyline Drive though, less traffic and faster speeds.

And Rt. 56 is a blast to ride, you guys take it a little slow so you can see the foliage. :D

dam i would love to go... that is a hell of a ride for me though... 5 o'clock in the morning to meet up with you... is any one in the hampton roads area interested let me know...

Sorry Danny , It was Ben's First game after the Suspension , i had to watch the Drama

thinking about it. would prefer a saturday run but I do like 56.
Bruce is Doing a Blue Ridge Ride this saturday ! they have about Six Guys Going :bigthumbsup:

I havent checked the offical forcast For Foilage this year ,but Im sure its not Peaked yet , But the temps Will Be more Moderate This Weekend
In Chester the High for sunday is 78:a18:

Depending on Turnout , the Return trip may be Modifyed,
Rt 6 or 250 may be Choosen , I love Options :bigthumbsup:

I was out there last weekend and the leaves have already started turning colors and there starting to fall off the branches a little. A little unnerving when flying around a bend =)

Seems like it will be a nice ride. There are about 6 to 8 riders (m109 and other bikes) from Southern Maryland planning a similar trip along 64 for this Sunday. What are you thoughts of us meeting up around Charlottesville? Might be easier for us to take 301 to 3 to 20 into Charlottesville. Your thoughts.....

It has been a Very Long Week!


And i talked to Some of the Local Guys , Most cant Ride this Sunday
So i have Changed the Departure time to 900 AM

So i can Seep in alittle

here is the ride we took on Friday. Very nice.

64w to 81 north 5 miles to exit 227/254w to 250w.
40 miles to Monterey.
(Break) South on 220, 30 miles to Warm Springs, then
east on 39 thru Goshen Pass. (this section is breathtaking)
39 to Lexington then
left on Rt 11 north to
56 east (very twisty) left on
BRP to Wintergreen Rd. to
151 north to Rt. 6.
take 6 through Scottsville
at Columbia take right turn across James river on rt. 690
at rt. 45 take left for approximately 1 mile then right turn on Cartersville Road
Cartersville Road turns into Cosby Road
at rt. 522 take left for approximately 1 mile then right turn on rt. 711
711 runs into 288 near the river

We cut it off at route 6 and headed home....really nice ride

Have a good one ooinkk! :a18: Foliage is @ 75-100% so all the cagers will be out in force along with the :cop: I'll be cruising the twisties about 50-60 miles north of you, but at a more sane and warm hour of the day. :D

I just wish You could rember to take a CAMERA ,as good as you rember road names :D

WE HAD a BLAST ,,
Breakfast Ridin and nuthin but Blue skys

We had a Long day , i had over 320 miles and Im sure Jim had Many more coming from Hampton ,,,
