O.K. guys I am new and learning so if I sound uneducated it is because I am. I have read where guys are drilling holes in the exhaust to amplify sound. Is this correct? I have read guys are drilling 1/2 inch holes or 5/16 holes. I believe eight is the number of holes. Is this the total amount or per each pipe.

Also, are the holes drilled in the end of the pipe around the baffle? I hope I am making sense.

Thanks for any input.

Its really up to your preference....

I did 8 1/2 inch holes in each pipe... Yes, around the baffle pipes.

I will be also drilling the baffle plates as others have done. They seem to like it, and I want more sound!!!

I would suggest doing the eight for each pipe first... If not loud enough for you, do the baffle plates one at a time to make sure you dont get it too loud for your liking!!

I did 8 7/16 holes in each pipe last week, the I filed them out I little bit more with a cone shaped file on a drill. I also repainted both ends with high heat flat black paint... Plenty loud for me..
