Does anyone know the inner workings of the contacts for the EXCVA(Exhaust Control Valve Actuator) that sends and receives the signals to open and close the EXCV (Exhaust Control Valve)??

Thanks!

I've had one apart but I can't tell you what each contact does. If you strip them sometimes you can turn the part that rotates 180 degrees, remove the contacts and reinstall them on the opposite side, and make them work again. I think there are 3 contacts but it's been a couple years and I'm not sure. The way it is made, it looks like they planned it so the contacts could be relocated to the opposite side.

Why not just pull the SET off altogether and pull the wire out of the ECM?
