Hi All,
I am wondering if anyone out there knows the weight of the bare engine without the shaft drive. I have searched the forum with no success so I hope someone knows.
Thanks for your help.

Well, I think you are close to 250#. If you can give me a few days, I will have the complete dry weight for you. Could be Wed or Thurs.

Why? Shipping quote?
Both for a shipping weight but more importantly to see if it is a good option for a small, simple rat rod project I am considering. I don't have any details to share. I am purely at the data gathering stage, with particular focus on the legal requirements for registation. I am also considering other engines like the V-Max 1700 and Harley but I keep coming back to the M109R engine for pure looks, grunt, sound and technology. I would like to know an accurate weight to add to the other data, as I have found details for the V-Max and Harley engines.

If anyone has the basic length, width, height dimension I would appreciate those too. It's quite hard to find M109R technical details on the web.

Cheers
