How much is everone being charged for running and tuning your bike on a dyno? I've been quoted $95 just to run my bike on the dyno and $295 plus time to tune it on the dyno. Sounds high to me. I'd be curious to see what everyone else is paying. I'm in Orange County, CA.

I priced the 2 shops nearest me (2 hours away).
1 wanted 200$ for a custom map, and the second wanted $ 150. Both of these prices included dyno use, labor, etc.

In fact... the place that wants 150$ is even installing the PCIII for me free since I bought it through them.

Sounds to me like your getting jacked a little on the price...

You can expect to pay $200.00 to $500.00 to have a custom map created.  It all depends on what tuning center you use and the software used to create the maps.  If the tuner is a authorized DynoJet dealer and uses Tuning Link software it shouldn't take more than an hour to create a good map.  There are situations that may extend the time on the dyno, but not by much.  The more you want done the more it will cost.  The $500.00 range would apply to serious engine work and mods like turbos, supercharger, nitrous, etc.

My local shop only charges me $40.00 for tunning on my M109R..... It pays to have a dealer who loves you :)... But then again, every time i stop down it sells a bike...
When i dyno'd my bike a couple weeks ago (stock) it sold 2 bikes in 20 min....

I was told $40 to do a baseline and $200 for a custom map.  The dealer price on the power commander is $340, but they said they would discount the custom map and baseline if I went through them for everything.
