I left the key on and ran my battery down, so here's my question. Does the 109 have a 12V or 6V system and if it is a 12V system can I use a auto battery charger to charge the battery/ jump start my bike safely?

I did the same thing. I put it on a 2amp automatic charger and let it run all day. The charger is showing zero charge and after trying to charge all day it won't do anything with the battery. It's a brand new charger and I took it back to sears to be checked out. It appears the charger is fine, so if the battery is dead/faulty...will Suzuki cover it under warranty? I did check to see if Sears even had a battery to replace since I want to be back on the road ASAP, but their battery reference books don't have the 109 listed yet.
