Crooked display

Is anybody else’s tachometer display trim crooked? I thought it was just the bars but noticed it today. Bike is brand new. I would think that this part was assembled by suzuki and not the dealer. Look at the bottom of the trim . There is a 1/8” thick piece of trim underneath the display under the tach where the neutral light, high beam light, and low fuel light is displayed.

Yep, my 2017 is exactly the same, drives me nuts, but I haven't been able to get it back in place
Who cares? It isn't a Mercedes, ride it and enjoy it.

It doesn't look like an assembly issue since everything around it is aligned. Is there something under it that requires it to be made at a slight angle like that?
mine is the same and iv tried to fix it a few times but can't .. i think if you take it off and heat it a wee bit while holding it in position it might work but the problem is where to hold it ... i just don't look at it now but if i ever take it off again i will try the heat method ...
Mine has been that way since the day I bought it. I had forgotten about it, now its going to bug me again!

Wow seems common. Maybe Ill try to dix it someday.
Mine is the same on my 2013. I much prefer having the tach on the handlebars. But the gear position indicator is a good thing.
I just noticed that from another angle there is this little piece of rubber on the right side only pushing up against the riser.

It's odd that they would do something just to one side that would make it crooked on all of them. I wonder if it's there to help dampen vibration?
Could there once have been two of the rubber cushions?

I have a picture of mine with the bike still having 0 miles on it and the piece is crooked. I did not even notice it at the time.

Did you try to fix it or someone working on the bike try to fix it?

i did try and fix it but it goes back to where it is all the time .. i'm going to try the heat method the next time .. i must look at mine again because truth be told i'm not a 100% sure i have the two lugs ...
When I bought my '19 I noticed it while sitting on it at the dealer. The bike was used but only had about 400 miles on it. Salesman talked to one of the techs and he said the majority of them are like that.

I've messed with mine but can't get it straight.
I would try building up inside to hold it straight right behind that rubber plug. Like some foam or make a bag and fill with hot glue and inflate it with glue. someone could make some money if they 3d print a piece for support behind it.

Mine's been like that from the get-go. I think it's inherent. I thought i did it by removing the headpiece to put in a better headlight, but as mentioned above, I have a picture of my bike in the fucking box and it's like that. It drives me mad.
I just tilt my head a little. No problem.
