I was looking through the pictures section of this site and saw a 300 series tire next to our 240 series. I noticed it was posted by Lamonster. Can you really put a tired that big on our bikes? If so, do you have to do a lot of customizing to get it to fit? What's entailed?

Also, I saw a couple pics with bikes that had tank chaps on them. Where do you get these? I'm not looking for a full "bra" type one, but simply a strip that comes down from the spedo to the seat (preferably with a pocket).

Last thing - more of a comment. I put the cobra slash pipes (not drag) on my bike last weekend. I was really impressed with how they sound and look. Cobra has come a long way.

Thanks for any help or feedback

You could do a 300 but not without a new swingarm. The 280 will bolt right up with our new hub and rim. :doorag:

is the 260 Metz the largest tire you can put on the 109 stock rim?
No, you can squeeze a Metz 280 on there too. Several people on the board have done this.
