I just got through taking pics. of my new 260 before mounting (I still have some tread left on the 240)  and remembered I needed to adjust the clutch. I thought it was ok because It would not pull at the stop light but it did release right at the grip so you had to have it pulled in all the way all the time .Now I'm thinking that when I go ride it in a few minutes it will shift easer and possibly smother? I'll post the tire pics later. Oh ya I forgot my point WHEN I pulled back the rubber adjuster cover I noticed that like some other nuts and hoes clamps it was loose and had screwed it self back into the clutch lever mount. Now if some of us haven't checked to make sure that the lock nut is secure with the clutch adjusted prouply.I forgot I don't have a hydrolic clutch any more(alla VTX).
