Quick question. Those of you who have switched over to the 240 setup out back. Have you felt a noticeable increase in cornering clearance? I would assume that since you have more width, there would be more but thats only a guess on my part.

hi i would say that no you dont get anymore clearance with the 240 rim on the original rim gives you better steering just that the 240 looks heaps better . and most people that put the 240 on have lowered their bikes anyway

I meant to say 240 on the 109 rim. Same applies?

The bike is not quicker into turns with the 240. You have to push it a little more into the turns. You get used to it quick, but I feel like it makes the bike a little more of a beast. I'm coming off a 03 CBR600rr though, so that might have a little to do with it as well. I haven't noticed much clearance issues as the M109 rim is taller, so even if your bike is lowered, as mine is, it raises the peg height back up a bit.
