Ordered some colorrite Pearl Black Nebular spray paint and some clear coat and am very impressed! The color is a perfect match. Just used it to black out some of my chrome pieces and you can really see the flake in it on the tachometer housing. You can see it in the air cleaner in person and a little in the photo. Just thought i'd share my experience. If you're buying some from colorrite the APC-150 clearcoat is a MUST.

I already had 2 coats of primer and 2 coats of gloss black on them. So when i bought the colormatched stuff. A quick wet sand and 1 coat of color and 2 coats of clear did the trick. I would imagine if you were starting from scratch it'd have to be 2 coats each of primer, color, and clear.

Yes i did. And i agree, they look soooo much better smoothed. I didn't cut the fins off the back of the vents though. I think it looks cleaner that way.
