I am looking at getting one of the emergency Co2 tire repair kits. Has anyone out there had to use one of these in an emergency situation?

I have the Innovations repair kit. It has a needle for putting the gummy rope with glue into the hole. We used it and it worked real well. It took 2 45 gram cylinders to inflate the tyre. We rode about 50kms to a gas station and checked tyre pressure all was well. Wedid another 700kms on that tyre before replacing it. Before this kit I had one with a plastic screw that screws into the tyre, it was ****, didn't work.

Like was said, 2 of the larger bottles. I pack a small bicycle pump as well, you never know if the rope plugs are going to get you home (ride home slow). I assembled my own little kit with the sticky brown rope (better) and don't forget a small flashlight.
