Does anyone remember reading about the m109's chrome swing arm in some earlier reviews ? Obviously incorrect, but I can almost swear I read it somewhere.

I read that review somewhere as well - of course I don't remember where.  The journalist never said where one might find one - only that he thought lucky owners would be lining up to get one installed. 

I would all over one if I could order it!  Sure it looks like nice clean but the side profile would be sweet with a bit of chrome to offset the pipes.

I have not seen a chrome swingarm but if you could take it off, it could be sent off to be polished. I have seen pics of one with a chrome shaft cover. I don't remember if the Baron's bike was polished/chromed.

When you say it looks nice polished (the swing arm). Have you polished one out yet? How about those painted Aluminum rims? Have you any idea if they would polish out like the parts on my X I didn't chrome or replace, or might they have too much magnesium in them?

When we were at the dealer show in Indy we saw a 109 that was polished out and it looked great. I can't remember who's bike it was, maybe Cobra. I'll see if I can find some pics of that bike.

I had thought about polishing what you can see of my swingarm while I was doing my differential. Then, I kicked myself in the face and realized I'd best not do that. If I were to ever (doubt that) take the swingarm off, I'd do it b/c then it would look good rather than seeing some polished then some just black.

I have a stock swingarm that has been chromed. Ill sell it for $850 shipped it has never been installed since I received it from the chromer.
