keep in mind that with that gear indicator, you will not get the TRE benefit of the gipro. but you can always add a JSD to it. :bigthumbsup:

Why does one need a gauge to let them know what gear they're in? Especially one that costs $240.

Sometimes when you're riding (for me this is especially likely when I'm in traffic) you're paying a lot of attention to your surroundings and running through gears and you can lose track of what gear you're in. Haven't you occasionally tried to upshift to find that you're already in fifth gear?

For me, it's not worth the expense (either this one or the GiPro) since it's clear enough when I arrive at the top (or bottom) of the gears. But I understand the appeal.
