I was surfing the web and ran across this. Has anyone bought a bike from this dealer? I think they will have a bike or two on the floor.

I want some of what they're smoking ,but nice to know that the M109R looks as good as this price suggests. I just hope this trend doesn't become contagious to other Suzuki dealers.
i believe it is. the day i was picking mine up, another guy was trying to offer them 2000 more than i had paid for it. i'm glad i'd already signed the papers the day before. they are dissappearing from dealers quickly. the whole supply and demand thing may allow the remaining bikes out there to be raised in price. you'll definitely see a lot more dealers go no lower than msrp.
As of the Bank of Canada's web site currency converter from today's noon exchange rate, that is still:

$15,804.92 US Dollars, or a about a $3,400 premium over the MSRP in the US

There are customs fees, freight, and VAT (national sales tax) as well, on TOP of the exchange rate. This is actually not a bad price. I own a company that regularly ships to Canada and you wouldn't believe what it costs to export stuff there.
LOL :D C'mon guys - it said Ottawa on the top of the ad... doesn't anyone know the capital of Canada???

Anyway, the $17,999 is the same price as the MSRP on the http://moto.suzuki.ca/Home.aspx?culture=en-CA&province=AL site... I paid $16.6 for mine though (plus pdi of $200 plus tax but we don't have provincial (state) tax in Alberta - in fact our Premier throws money at us just for living here.) ;)

Anyway, I'm hearing not too many people are getting the bike for any less than MSRP now.
WOW  - that is $AU 21,400.   Suzuki down here reckon that the price will start at $AU 18,999. Don;t know how correct that is - need to confirm that with the west coast boys, Gumnut and Aussie109 (bastards are the first in Oz to get access to them )
Posted this on another thread but down in New Zealand the recommended retail Price is $19995.00. Managed to get mine for $18495.00. Suzuki NZ are all out of black for a few months but have Blue and Silver available still. Glad I got Black!
Wow, some of those dealers are crazy or there is just a surplus here in mid-america. If you live fairly close to Oklahoma I can point you to a dealer asking $10,700, and he will probably go lower. Even the dealer I bought mine from has 1 in each color on the floor and I'm sure they can be had for a little over $11k U.S. which is what I paid for mine. Wish I'd found out about the $10k dealer earlier, but I couldn't wait. Got the first one in the area and I've still never seen another one on the road.
I bought mine back in January for 16,750 (+ 7% Tax) which is under list and it came with the 3 yr warranty.  I was at the dealership yesterday and it is a 6 week wait before the next one arrives (not sure of color). The price is now selling at full retail (posted in the ad) and you only get the 2 yr warranty.  I guess it occasionally pays to be the first in line ...
HEY WE CANADIANS ARE GETTING HOSED.....MOST BIKES HERE ARE SELLING FOR ABOUT $19,600 OUT THE DOOR I PAYED $18,300 TAXED IN FOR A BLACK ONE!!
WORTH IT AT ANY PRICE THIS IS THE BEST BIKE I HAVE EVER OWNED AND I HAVE OWNED AT LEAST 40
Aussie109 said that:  $AU18,990 + ORC on  AUS West coast and East coast can't get enough and are asking up to $3,000 above list.
In NZ $NZ19,995 + ORC (about $US12,800).. Still appears to be 109's available here according to the local bike trader mag.

Wow, and I thought I was getting hosed at $13,950 OTDoor, now I KNOW i got a bargain.
I've seen guys on here pick up 07's for around 11 K.
I have an 06' that I got for 11-4, it was 1 of two he had...the other went to some trucker passing through because he couldn't find one in his area. The dealer has 1 on the floor now and one in the crate...neither of which will last. After all I'm a riding free advertizement. :doorag:

Devilish
Paid $17,825.00 CDN. from Surry B.C. and had to ship it to Grande Prairie Alberta, cost $350.00 The Dealers in Alberta did not have a Burple one left in their inventory. and Uncle Ralph does not through money at us it,s called the Alberta Advantage. ;) ::)  :super:
