After a really nice day of riding a hundred miles or so in some great weather, my wife and I were almost home when we rounded a curve and were almost hit head on by an idiot talking on his cell phone. He startled me so much that I didn't even have time to blast him with my stebel horn.
Luckily, I had enough pavement to dodge this nut. Be safe out there

Here in British COlumbia it is now illegal for drivers to use a handheld cell phone and it is great. Previously each time I was out it would be a close call with a drive ron a cell now they are few and far bewteen as the penalty is $167 and 3 points on your record!

While I am sure it does detract from many people's driving, I have been using a cell while driving over the past 12 years putting on over 40k miles per year. Never a problem. However, I am not an airhead.:D

When someone you love is killed or critically injured hopefully you will have a change of heart!

i would rather encounter a drunk driver than someone on a cell phone. i drive for my living and i only use the phone if i have my bluetooth. heck, im sitting on the couch right now with my bluetooth in my ear. i cant stand to hold the phone even when im not driving.
CELL PHONES SUCK!!!
