I put a cheap little windshield on to hold me over until WindVest gets on the stick. It doesn't look out of place on the bike and did a great job of deflecting the bugs that kept blasting me when I'd get moving. I may stick with this and spin the $300,00 I planned for the WindVest on something else.

Couldn't figure out to post pic of shield (technologically challenged) so I sent a copy to LaMonster and asked him to post and maybe give me instructions I can assimilate in my world that will allow me to post myself in the future. I would also be glad to take 'how to post pic instructions' from any of you other more tech advantaged M109R riders.

instructions for posting a pic:

1. find a web site that will "host" your pic. one common site is http://www.imageshack.us/
2. copy the link (hit CTRL-X when the address to your pic is highlighted)
3. then, in your post, paste the link (hit CTRL-V)
4. select the link in your post, and click on the little "insert picture" icon from above. this will put in some text...{img}{/img]}...around your picture, and make it work.

congrats jerbear on getting the posting to work! (the reason your first one failed is that the {IMG} and {/IMG} are supposed to go on either side of the link, not under it.

anyways, i like your windshield. it actually looks decent, and fits well.

The next big question. What brand and where did you get it?
Hey, that looks great as far as I'm concerned. Rode at 80 on interstate today and really got tired of trying to hang on. To much wind. Does this cut down on the wind alot? I would imagine it would. Going to order one right now. Thanks, I would hate to try and get something for this bike that no one else has tried before.

Say, if you get bored, you could always take a couple more photos of it. A direct head on and one from the side with the whole bike in view. That is if you get bored and want something to do ;D
