We are planning a ride to the Bunya Mts area for Sunday the 18th. Will meet at Caboolture BP northbound at 830am for a 9am sharp departure. A long day but a really nice ride. Will not be taking a long break at lunch so as to cover in better time to get home for southerners.

Hey Wrecks i'm interested  would rather a earlier start though. Meet at 7.30 depart at 8, it is a long run, personally would prefer to get going earlier for that ride. :dontknow:
Guess some Pansie is going to buck cause they would miss an early morning glory.

If there are no starters from the south side we could leave a bit earlier but its not that far for you anyway. At the speed you go you will be home before we get there. Gurdie said he is sick of all the pub stops and that it is un queenslander to drink all day. First pub will be Blackbutt then Kumbia then a quick one at Bunya before we head back down. Final nip at Cooyar so that some can split across Bris valley highway if they want.. Will confirm times in week before to suit majority so if you have a preferred time to leave make it known.

Considering he is Victorian, I can understand his train of thought ;)

Wrecks, put me down for a 90% yes.

Couple of questions,

Which route are we taking ?

Where in the Bunya Mountains are we going ?

What time do you reckon you might get to Blackbutt?

If we are going to the National Park Gurdie will have to leave his bike outside, no dogs allowed. :duck:

Route basically is out from Caboolture on Diagular highway. Stay on that until just before Nanango then turn left toward Tarong power stn. Zigzag to Kumbia. Kumbia over the Bunya mounts to Maclagan. Down to Cooyar then Yarraman and home via Dag highway Would estimate 1030am at Blackbutt if we leave at 9am.
