Do a search on the SET valve or actuator in reality. The noise is most likely the gears are stripped. You should be getting an FI light also. You should look at pulling the wire from the ECU. Have a customer/friend with your exact set up and will be doing the same. Check Hink's FAQ list to help solve the issue.

Thanks Guys I found the Problem What threw me off was it was cranking over it was a loose positive connection on the battery everything was normal but wouldn't fire I was told that the fuel pump didn't have enough power to start.

Flip your "kill" switch to the run position.:joke:

When my wife first started riding her M50, she did this numerous times. When the "kill" switch is in the off position, the FI lights up.

It is always a good idea to check the tightness of your battery terminal connections every once and a while. I know lots of people that have had the same problem. Glad to here that you have it fixed and are back in the saddle.

Do you do your own work on the bike ??
was the gaz tank ever raised ??
I had an issue with a connector under the tank , if you
lift your tank for whatever reason , don't stretch the
connector too far , one of the wires may come out just a little
from inside the connector .
I had all the regular sounds of the fuel pump ,
and the line going up on RPM .
but it would crank without ever starting
even got a picture of the guilty wire .

the wire was loose ,i didn't know, I went on a 600 miles run
it came apart on the way back , 100 miles from my home
so you can ride for a long time with the wire loosened
i remember stopping by the side of the road with all the
other riders in the gang , while stopping i went over the
" wake-up holes" that they did on the side of our highways
it shook the bike and that was it , never started again
til I got the bike off the flatbed towing , with the weight
of the tank and the angle going backwards downhill ,
the tank moved just enough for the contact to connect
again ,and bike started right away , towing for nothing ...
but with the help of the search button , on this site ,i
narrowed it down to 4 possibilities and found the loose wire .
...Good luck .
