I am within a week or so of pulling the trigger on a new 109! CAN'T WAIT!! I am curious though as to what the best price is that you are buying yours at and where from. Best price I've found so far is $11,600. That price includes everything but tax and title. Please let me know what you are all finding!! THANKS!

$11,600 is a more-than-fair price. A lot of dealers are charging full boat (and some even more) and are easily getting it.

I'm not saying you couldn't spend days searching the 'Net and maybe getting a couple hundred less. But to me, building a relationship with a good local place is worth more than the few bucks you might save travelling to an Internet price-whore dealer. Up to you though.

Black is black. Eh. Get the blue! It's different, it's cool, chicks really dig it. :D

Today, I called four dealers in Houston; they are all sticking to MSRP. The difference is what they charge for set-up, $350-800. I think I am going to hold out until Suzuki addresses the oil issue and shifting issue between 1st & 2nd.

Not sure how they are going to address the oil issue, it is what it is. ::) I really don't see a shifting issue, every bike has it's own quirks and I think you just need to shift it like you mean it and it shifts fine. I'm just saying this because you might as well go get another bike if you're waiting on Suzuki to "address" these issues. ::)

Well just talked to my dealer and they are at 11,900 OTR. That includes everything! Tax, title, liscense, set up, the works!! They are also going to give me 15% off all accesories. They have one of each color to choose from!!

I'm pretty sure there is still room to move there, and I'll push for more maybe $300-$400 more. I'm a car salesman myself and so I won't stop till I'm convinced I'm gettig a great deal. Customers do it to me all the time, now its my turn! ;)

I got mine for around 11,200 OTD. I think if you can get it for less than list OTD it can't be too bad of a deal. Where I live, these 109's come in and go right back out.

I would agree with Lamonster. From what I was told by one dealer, cost (invoice) is $10400. So if you can get it for $11600 plus T&T of coarse. I think it is a fair deal and try to keep it local so if you need help. It is a great bike and you will like it more and more you ride it. I think there is nothing on the market that touches it for the price. I sold cars for years and I noticed that the happiest customers paid full MSRP or close to it and referred customers to me. But it is your call, you have to be happy with it. A great deal is state of mind not price.

Wow, those prices at less then 12k OTD are really good. My dealer here in Phoenix gave me a OTD of 12,950 this morning. I told him we were 950 away from a deal and he said that is not going to happen. I called him back this afternoon and offered MSRP OTD and again, no deal. Anyone in the Phoenix area get a deal close to 12k? If so, please point me to that dealer.

I agree. 4 dealers in SE PA are at full retail. Nobody will budge. I hope their still left in the fall. Maybe I can get them to take $100.00 off then. I want one now! My M50 isn't cutting it anymore. Help!!!
