Anyone seen a decently priced batwing fairing for the C109R?

Corbin is way too expensive and I don't really like the look.

Kuryakyn says the Sportech doesn't fit...
Memphis says their batwing doesn't fit...

Do these not fit because there are no brackets? If this is the case, has anyone used these with custom mounting hardware?

Who has been there/done that?

I need to stop this 100MPH wind ;)

Batwing

I'm looking for a nice batwing myself and also looked at the Corbin, although I don't mind the look...the price was certainly not appealing.

Look forward to some feedback also on this.

Thanks all.:dontknow:

:redfaced::redfaced:

I'm sorry.

You've got to love these Dutch summers.

It's been raining for the past weeks.

So I haven't been able to take pics outside.
(Or clean Eleftheria for that matter :dontknow: )

Taking pics in the garage wouldn't do the bike right, to close courtiers.

I hope the weather will be better this week.
I will put my camera in one of the bags so if an opportunity does present itself I'm ready for it.

Until now I like the fairing very much.
Although I may need to ad a higher screen.
I've got an 8 inch screen on it now but will probably need to change to an 10 inch or higher.

It's been a big change since I'm used to riding without.
It's the first piece of wind-protection I've had on any bike I've ever owned.
And I've already put 300.000 km on the them since I got my license.:doorag:

Had to secure the radio to the fairing since the factory didn't do that.
It kept sliding out its mounting every time I rode over a bump in the road.
Now it's secured to the mounting brackets by a piece of nylon rope.
Other then that there haven't been any problems yet.

I'm still adjusting my fitment, picked it up off Amazon. Fits great, 120 bucks from a company out of Canada. It's actually for a 1600 Vulcan and I've having to make my own mounts, but beats paying a grand for a custom. I'm pretty sure it's just a memphis shades knock off. I bought a memphis shades windshield to fit theirs and it matched up perfect no drilling required.
