I have the silver and the seat cowl paint job looks like it has faint leopard spots at night and in artificial light. It is ok in the bright sunlight. Anyone else have that issue? I guess I am going to ask for a new one under warranty.

At least you guys got yours, I had to convince the dealer that the bike actually came with one! Once they rummaged 'round out the back they finally found it! Luckily it was still in it's packaging and is in good knick.

Glad to know I`m not the only one, but I`m not worried about it as it is normal on some metallic colors and I will probably paint mine before the end of the year.

Mine matches the bike well. That's the first time I've heard of this. I would talk to the dealer and see if they could have the manufactor fix that...

Mine looks good. I wouldn't take mine from the dealer with the passemger pillion mounted. It just didn't do the bike justice.

I had just the opposite happen! The cowl was attached to the bike on the day of delivery. I returned to the dealer two days later to pick up the rear seat and they initially couldn't find it. After several yelling matches between the folks in "Parts and the folks in "Service"....someone found the seat pad. The clear plastic protective cover was still on the seat. I removed the plastic and checked the vinyl cover ( no damage or tears ) before leaving the dealer.
