Hi all, well i was reading the recommended speeds to shift on the owners manual and i was  to say the least? I mean who actually shifts that LOW? Maybe its just me but i think they are really low?

At what speeds do y'all shift into 2nd, 3rd, 4th?

I never look at the speed when I shift. Either sound or rpm's 8)

:doorag: It seems optimal shift rpm is around 3500 to 4000 rpm's. Seems to shift the smoothest then and I don't have the clunk noise from 1st to second.

if i'm gettin on it...redline.

if i'm cruisin, about 4k-4.5k. i don't let the tach get below 3k unless i'm just cruising at a constant speed, it's not as happy down there.

I hope you didn't expect a real response... cause it looks like you may not get one. If the other post are for real then I AM doing it wrong

Yea its the same with me, I just go by ear. If I'm racing, I'l take a look at the tach to gauge my shifts. :p  :doorag:
